With Bundaberg (the southern most destination on of the reef) just 4 hours north of Brisbane these southern towns offer quick access to the Great Barrier Reef for those short on time. From Bundaberg your can travel north to 1770, Gladstone, Rockhampton and Yeppoon.
The region boasts a number of pristine islands including Great Keppel, Wilson, Heron, Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliot Islands set amongst beautiful waters and corals cays. With an abundance of marine life and reef access there are endless tours and attractions to experience. Try sailing, snorkelling, jet skiing and diving. In the winter months (July - October) join us for whale watching in Hervey Bay, the whale watching capital of the world.
